Is COOLERMASTER V8 GTS compatible with the COOLERMASTER K280?
So im totally new to building computers, and i made a mistake by buying an CM V8 GTS
first before even getting my Chassis. im not really too flexy with my budget so does it fit or not?
on a K280. I have a ASUS F2A85-V PRO Mother board.

If it doesnt fit can you guys tell me other chassis at the same price that would work with the V8? thanks.

Good to know it fits, you got a good looking cooler there, side fan removal shouldn't be much of a concern :D

Ok guys V8 GTS and Challenger Cougar 100% fits i just installed it. Only bad side to it you cant install side fans.

Here's my Black Challenger with the Noctua D-14 ,the fans and top of the heatsink are barely avoiding the Side panel 1 - 2mm clearance.

If I just press on the window lightly it touches.

Well, it's better to be safe than sorry, OP, please consider another case, we can recommend if you can provide what website you prefer for purchasing components.

I own the Black and Orange Challenger and the Noctua And Phanteks PH-TC14PE , and they barely fit 2mm at most to spare.

Height (with fan) 160 mm < Noctua DH-14 is 2 mm from the side panel in my Cougar Challenger

166.5mm < V8 GTS is 166mm , I doubt it will fit in the Challenger , if it does it will be real tight.

The cooler WILL NOT FIT in the K280:

CPU cooler height: 162mm < Case allowance for a cooler
Cooler height 166.5mm
