Should I get SLI 970s or another R9 290X Tri-X OC?
I purchased a Sapphire R9 290x Tri-X OC from Newegg on the Mother's Day sale for $500 in May. While it seemed like a good deal at the time, I now really regret my purchase with the new Nvidia cards. The 290x Tri-X OC is currently listed on Newegg for $400, but then I would have to upgrade my PSU, and I'm intrigued by Nvidia's new extra features. What would you guys recommend? Also, if I should go the Nvidia route, what is the most effective way to sell my GPU?

Unless you have a local buyer ready to spend more, ebay is your best hope. Either that, or keep the card for a backup or a 2nd build you may want to do.

A pair of 970s will slightly out perform a pair of 290Xs and do it using far less power. Chances are, you can keep your PSU.

Thank you, how would you recommend that I go about selling my GPU? R9 290Xs are being sold for $200 on ebay, and I would hate to lose so much money from my purchase :(
