What graphics card should I buy?
My computer specs:

CPU-i7 4790k @ 4.4 ghz

Motherboard- asus Maximus vii ranger

Memory- 8gb corsair vengeance @ 2133mhz

Gpu- Nvidia GeForce 750 gtx palit version

Psu- xfx pro 850w black edition

Ssd- samsung evo 840 250gb

CPU cooler- corsair h100i

Case- NZXT h440 red/black

Okay my question is what gpu should I purchase I have a £300 budget thanks. I was looking at 970 gtx

My advice is the MSI Twinfrozr V version. In order I recommend:
1) MSI Twinfrozr V
2) Gigabyte
3) Asus Strix

The Asus Strix card can disable the fans, but the MSI card can do that and also control each fan separately (not sure Asus Strix can). Maybe not a big deal.

The MSI card seems to have the highest overclock, nor could I found one reason to choose a different card over it. It was also the cheaper of the three where I looked.

I think the lengths are:
MSI: 10.5"
Asus: 11"
Gigabyte: 12.2"

I'm not 100% sure but I think that's right. Some people had issues with the Gigabyte for example fitting their case.

Yes purchase the 970. For brand, it`s your personal preference go to whatever you like/afford.
