I have installed a HD6350 video card so that I can run three monitors in eyefinity, However when I open up Catalyst control center it is showing that a hd 5470 card is installed. How can I set the card in Catalyst Control Center?

I am pretty sure the card is legit because it looks exactly like the ones on the VisionTek site. I got the Catalyst control Center to recognize the card by taking the card out and deleting all the previous drivers. Then I downloaded the card driver from the dell site and the catalyst control center from amd. All I did was check the custom download and uncheck the video driver box. I believe the guy who sold me the "Active" dongle might be the culprit. I have no way of checking it though. Is there a way to see if it is active or passive? I have a multimeter and would not mind probing the thing if I knew what I was looking for.
theres a story like this for amd also but could not find it right away but i'll look some more latter

My problem seems to actually come from getting the driver from the website. I can download the HD6000 series driver(which is the same as the HD 5000 driver) and have the new catalyst control center with eyefinity. Or I can download the driver directly from dell and have the proper device show up in the device manager and the catalyst control center. The problem is that since the driver came from the dell website it has the old catalyst control center that does not include eyefinity support. Is there any way to upgrade just the catalyst control center with out the video driver? I tried custom downloading and not choosing the video driver but then Catalyst control center would not open and it kept crashing. I did some research and it seems this problem originated from dell. So i upgraded my bios to the latest version. Any and all help would be appreciated.

How can I set the card in Catalyst Control Center?well it could be a actual 5470 or it could be a bad driver installed .. download the drivers again and choose a older driver and then see if the problem persist
