low perfomance and 3dmark 11 scores
Hi,

Just recently I did update on my GPU from 660ti to Zotac 780ti oc. As everyone probably, I did expect some kind of performance upgrade on my computer but there is nothing. Yesterday I decided to run 3Dmark 11 test and it came out very low comparable to others. I got about 3900 points in overall, settings on performance. I checked temperature is fine on both CPU and GPU. Crash tests fine. Newest drivers from Nvidia ( only drivers as I decided to get nvidia experience deleted).

My pc:
i5-4670
4x4GB corsair vengeance
800wPS corsair gaming series
Asus Z97-A motherboard
Samsung 128GB SSD + 2xHDD
and Zotac 780ti OC
Windows 7 64bit

Is it normal to get this kind of score on 3dmax? Should I checked maybe some other settings, drivers?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Here's what I'd do.

Uninstall the drivers using DDU from SAFE MODE.
Remove GPU from motherboard.
Boot using onboard video - if you have one.
Install GPU again.
Boot to Safe Mode
Install latest drivers from NVIDIA.COM
It will make you reboot.
Boot Windows normally and run the test again.

Ok, so i did all you asked from that list. New results are:
Graphics score - 4811
Physics Score 7377
Combined Score 4102

Any suggestions?

Ok i found a solution, all I had to do is to switch PCI-E speed settings from auto to 3.0 in UEFI.

My new 3dmark score is:
Graphic score 15554
Physics Score 7432
Combined Score 7801

Thanks for help.[/quotemsg]

With nvidia experience i had about 3000 points, driver re-install didn't help. What I found out its that I should be on minimum 12500 points

Edit: Could it be BIOS settings?

Perhaps uninstall drivers entirely; reboot; and reinstall latest drivers.

Looks like you should be around 18500.

That is a huge drop off.

What were your scores when you had NVIDIA Experience installed?

What are others with a similar setup getting?
