Palit Jetstream GTX 970 in Bitfenix prodigy
Hey!
I am definitely getting a GPU In a few weeks and I have a bitfenix prodigy case.
I would really like the GTX 970 by Palit but I know that the GPU has a 2.5 inch slot.
So, my question is, Will if fit?
I also have a windowed side panel which may make a difference.
Thanks THW community!

I understand what you mean, however I don't know of any card that would hit a side panel.

The width of the card should be fine in any case that can have full PCIE cards.

I looked at the card and I see what you mean.

It is very difficult to tell, however they should all be set to a standard. In this case if it doesn't, why not go with another GPU? One that you can be 100% sure fits.

Best thing to do is call the case manufacturer. Find out what the widest card you can install is.

Then check the measurements of the card itself.

Other than that I will be of no help- sorry, wish I could though.

My question is:
Will the prodigy have enough clearance for an extra half a slot without colliding with the side panel?
Thanks!

Got it... so if you know it covers the other slots, what is your question?

I mean that the heat sink and cooler sticks out further that the 2 slot design about half of another slot

What do you mean the GPU has a 2 1/2 inch slot?

Do you mean the bracket?
