That build is not bad. But as Eximo stated above, the GTX 970 is a better option than the 780 in my opinion. You also will want a z97 board. I made some tweaks and came up with this. I was even able to fit an i7 into the build and even a touchscreen monitor. I have the exact monitor and absolutely love it. Civ V is awesome with touchscreen. If you don't want it, you can easily change it out for an different monitor.

GTX970 would be a better choice then the GTX780 at $430.

Z97 and i5-4690k would also be a better choice then the older Z87 and an i5-4670k.

I would try to match the ram color to the board at least, and that memory has hugely unnecessary heat spreaders.

SSD is entry level.
