IPS monitors vs. rMBP screen
I received a BENQ 2420z today and after settings the brightness, contrast, and altering the colors a bit it looks MUCH better than out of the box. It is a TN panel, but it has really good whites. But colors on the other-hand, when sitting next to my rMBP, is hysterical. I'm not much of a color nitpick person, but I can appreciate the rMBP screens. I understand this monitor is in no way, shape, or form designed for any sort of color depth, but rather extremely fast response times. I am unsure if I am disappointed or not! I was also looking at

which is an Asus IPS panel; along with a few others, such as a Samsung and another Asus but all at 5ms. Would I see a dramatic difference in colors that are closer to that of my Macbook? Or would it be more of an in between?
