I just built my first computer and need help on my gpu (R9 280x)
I just made my computer yesterday and just got my gpu today and i cant figure where to connect everything to on my gpu?my gpu is a pny R9 280x and my mother board is a asrock h97 pro4
and tell me what cables and how they look like please Ima noob i know ...

As Nathan mentioned, the 6 or 6+2 pin cables are required, the R9 280x will require 2 of those cables

Your GPU will need at least one, possibly two, connectors from your power supply that will have either 6 or 8 pins (referred to as 6+2). The card itself will seat into the PCI express slot on your motherboard, and your HDMI or DVI cables from your monitor(s) will connect to the back of it. Hope that helps!
