I need to upgrade my PSU. Which one should i choose?
Hello, I recently upgraded my graphics card from a Asus GTX 650 1GB to a MSI Geforce Twin Frozr GTX 770 2Gb. Now i need a new PSU. How many watt does my new PSU need to have and which one should i choose? Will 650 watt do or do i need at least 750 watt? I want a corsair PSU because all my pc components are from corsair!

Current PC specs:
24inch samsung syncmaster 1920x1080
Inter core i7 3820 @ 3.6GHz (8 CPU's)
16gb RAM
MSI Geforce GTX 770 2GB OC edition.
Windows 7 professional.
Sabertooth x79
Corsair CX500M

Thank you in advance and sorry for my terrible english.

If you want corsair just get a RM, no need to think about it more. A 550 will be enough, a 650 is fine too.

Thank you! but is 750 watt not a bit to much?

For sli would it be good, but for one card a bit much, even 650watt is already much,550watt should already be fine. But like i said are the 650watt units just a few euro's more expensive and like the moderator says,it doesn't hurt.
Which one you choose is up to you,but with that seasonic 620watt would you make a good choice for a good price.

Wow,hard to react with those huge pics.:D

A few options,
http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/349127/cooler-master-gm-... (a cheap and imo good one,i know that others will say no to this one)
http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/360227/seasonic-m12ii-ev... (the newer model,fully modular) !
http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/349132/cooler-master-v65... (i like this one) !
http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/348558/corsair-rm650.htm...
for the ones bitching about this one,it's in the tier 2A from the Psu Tier list from this forum. It should be good.
http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/361903/xfx-xtr-650w.html (a (very) good choice normally and should be according to TechPowerUp) !!
went for 650watts,that cpu can use a lot of power and with overclocking would that even be more. The 550watt versions (not that seasonic=520wat) would probably be good too,but are just a few euro's cheaper.

The ones with four or five starts are normally good shops, look at least above three stars to be sure I mainly use Afuture by now,but Azerty also has a good rep,4launch should be good too and is also under budget, not taking into account the postal costs. With Afuture are there no postal costs right now! This means that the corsair would be under that budget you gave.
Still, with that seasonic (or the cooler master gm) would you save quite a lot of money, enough for a nice cooler on that cpu if you don't already have that.
Well there's something to be said for each of those, read some reviews about them and make up your mind.
