3 Active Monitor Setup HELP!
Hello,

Currently I was using a two monitor setup with the AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series video card. Recently I bought a long enough HDMI cable to also plug in my T.V. Every since then, it appears I am only able to have two active connects and the "3rd" device becomes live as soon as I unplug one of the active.

What is preventing me from using all 3 devices at the same time? Both monitors are setup with DVI & the TV is using HDMI.

Any thoughts? Plus if I were to go into a 4 device setup, would it be any different?

Thanks in advance :)

Yes, but you could also daisy chain on a mst hub. 6 total monitors is the max.

So let's say I use 4 monitors. I would need to have 2 display port connections on my video card and so on and so forth?

3+ must be using active dp. The other 2 can use any port.
