Upgrade from GTX 660 to either 780 or 970
So I am thinking of upgrading from my GTX660 to one of those two. (just seems to be time) Since the 970 seems to constantly be out of stock, and the 780 is the exact same price, is it that much better than the 780? Or should I just wait it out for a bit. I play WOW and SC2 currently, but I am wanting to play Shadow of Mordor and Dragon Age when it drops.

My current full system is in my signature. I was hoping someone could shed some light on this.

Sorry for the long time before responding, but thank you for the information. I think I will hold out for the 970 to become more readily available.

RealHardTech recommend 500W for a 970 and 575W for a 780.

Interesting. I didn't even think about needing to upgrade the PSU. Thanks for that information. I did a quick calculation on Neweggs Power Supply Calculator and it says for 780 I would need 581. So that is definitely more. So Maybe it is best to wait for a 970. Will the power usage be in line with my current card so I don't have to upgrade the PSU or should I look in to that anyway?

For one thing the 780 might require you to buy a new PSU whereas the 970 is more power efficient even than your current GPU. I would go with the 970 for power-efficiency and yet great performance still.
