Dual monitor issue
Hi. I have one 27" monitor (primary) and one 24" monitor (secondary). The 27" monitor is set as primary in both Windows Display settings and in NVidia Control Panel; however, whenever I use Windows+P hotkey and switch to single monitor (Computer Only) option, and image jumps to the 24" monitor from the primary monitor. How do I change that?

The 24" monitor is numbered as "1" (number one) everywhere in listings, maybe that's the issue? How do I set the 27" monitor to be "1"?

Thanks guys!

I read a bit more into this... there's actually no way to change which display is listed as 1 and which one is 2 anymore... all you can do is ensure that the 27" one is listed as your main monitor (that being said, my original "workaround" should still work)

oh man, I used to remember how to change the numbers on them but there is a pretty easy work around for this... just select "Second screen only" instead of "PC screen only" and you should be given the one listed as display 2 (which is your 27" monitor)

as for a work around, maybe try unplugging the monitor you don't want to show up (the 24" one) and resetting your computer to try to force it to identify the 27" one as monitor 1... then plug the 24" one back in and see if it maps to "display 2"... not 100% sure that will work but it might... or it may be a colossal waste of time

hope this helps :)
