hello to everyone
i am planning to buy sapphire r7 240 gddr5.As i don't do much gaming i want to stick to this card.
This card requires pci 3.0 express x16 but i think my motherboard supports pci 1.0 express x16 .

My pc specs are:-
pentium dual core e6500
6 gb ddr2 RAM
Intel DQ35MP motherboard
my motherboard supports only ddr2 RAM,so i doubt that if this will card work on my system

Your motherboard is stated as PCIe 2.0, http://prntscr.com/4v0u1w. Once you disable the integrated graphics your card will use the full PCIe x16 2.0

Yes it's fully compatible. PCIe 3.0 is backwards compatible with PCIe 2.0. Have fun gaming.
