AMD cs Nvidia for Game editing
Im going to be using Unreal editor 4 on my next Computer build , Im wondering what would be best for taking on large loads and processing the geometry and lights and such.
I have heard some really good stuff about Nvidia's GPU's , but since im going to be getting a 4.4Ghz 8-core AMD Processor ..... im not sure If a AMD processor would do better paired with a AMD GPU or a Nvidia GPU ....

If you have no budget issues then definitely go for i7 4790k but if you have a budget and want something strong then go for fx 8350.Watch this video.

fx 9000 series consumes a heck of power and if you compare it with i7 the i7 still wins and for amd fx 9000 series you have to have a very strong board with good thermals and a strong PSU.

These FX-9000 series processors use this same core design, but with its performance absolutely maxed-out. They are among the first processors to ever ship with clock speeds above 4GHz, but in order to reach these tremendous speeds they run at twice the thermal output of most other CPUs. This level of heat requires liquid-cooling, and AMD also recommends using 1000W or higher power supplies to handle the added electrical draw.

Already would have a 1000W psu and a Noctua Heatsink/Fan , I think I should be good :p

You can pair an AMD CPU with Nvidia GPU and vice verse but editing i would suggest to go for i7 4790k if you have the budget the fx 8350 has 8 core but they are weak and i7 4790k has 4 Strong cores and 8 threads .

Im honestly thinking that the AMD FX-9590 Eight-Core 5.0Ghz vs a 3.5-4.0Ghz Processor would end up making up for that , and it has more cores , alongside the fact that it scores as the top AMD processor in overall score of 10,279 on https://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html
its ranked #47
running at 4.7 GHz

but the best I could shoot for would be the Intel Core i7-5820K ( https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Core+i7-... )
Score - 12,994
Rank - #27
Running at 3.3Ghz

Thinking that this is based on Single core strengths and the fact that I need more cores Considering the rate at which the gaming Industry is going ...... right now I think its a Quad-Core 3.6Ghz processor to be able to run ported over Xbox games at max as well as Battlefield 4 with max or so.
this is why I choose AMD

Price of Intel's best I can get if forced to ..... $390
( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... )
Price of AMD's best I can get ..... $260

What I'm using right now is a AMD Phenom 9850B Quad-Core running at 2.5ghz
This is going to be a Big Improvement either way
My graphics card is a Nvidia from 2006 .... the GeForce GT 8600..... very bad set up for creating games ;-;

Overall Budget $2,000
