hello,
so i have several months old rig and am not sure if the fans are acting the way they should.
only cpu and aux (prob case fan) fans are in question here.
in sleep mode ( no major stuff on ) - it rolls around 900-1100rpm. temps 38-40 C
but at the moment ( and some other times i've noticed ) the rpm of these fans goes up to 1800 while still at the same temps around 39 C and it keeps pulsing ( i can hear it ) every 5 seconds 1000-1800-1100-2000-1100 ect (checking with hardware monitor and speedfan ).
when on workload:
playing some games as temps go up ( cpu 50-55 ; GPU 60-65 ) fan rpm increases but remains stable while the program is on. But on other games ( don't change ) its the same pulsing thing. the rpm shows crazy 2.5-2.8k and keeps going up down up down.
i've tried to lower the % of fan speed on speedfan but it doesn't work for me
is it the poor optimization of games or something is wrong inside the case ? ( had no major issues so far )
Who after all is responsible for controlling fan rpm ? ( consistent temperature should require an equal kind of rpm the way I see it - not this bshit)
maybe its some kind of default factory settings in bios/win that i dont know about ?
after the restart seems like only aux fan keeps going crazy
