Do I need a sound card?
Hey, so I am currently gathering components to build my own PC. And I am wondering if I need to include a sound card.
My motherboard: http://
So does my motherboard support sound or no?

Depends on what you want to do with the audio. If you want killer sound running 5.1 or 7.1 audio for home theater type sound, then by all means get a sound card. If you plan on hooking up a pair of pc speakers or a sound bar, or just using the monitors built in speakers, the you definitely do not need a sound card, the on board audio is plenty good enough for that.

No, you do not need a sound card. Your motherboard has on-board audio.
