It isn't worth upgrading, especially when your two GTX780s will be out performing the single GTX980. It rarely is practical to upgrade from one generation to the next, just not a significant enough difference in performance. Wait some time, either the GTX980Ti or wait to see AMD's offerings before I would consider upgrading.
That is unless you can sell the cards for a decent price. If you get a good deal, then the GTX980 is a decent option.

Well look at it this way. Do you have a problem with your perfomance in the games that you play with your current setup? Do you feel after watching some benchmarks that it's worth it for you to upgrade? If you can still play what you are playing with those two cards then I see no reason to upgrade. Like I havea 660 atm that I bought almost 2 years ago and I can still play stuff lime metro last light on very high 45-60 fps and most competitive games are much easier to run so I would upgrade to 970 but I dont NEED it. You should never upgrade unless you actually could use the extra performance.
