I need help with a build I am water cooling because I do not know what parts to choose. I need to also cool down my r9 290x because of the heat it is at.
My Specs:
MOBO: ROG MAXIMUS V FORMULA/THUNDER FX (I will be purchasing this board)
CPU: Intel I7 3770k 3.5 GHZ ( I hear I can get another GH out of it)
GPU: XFX R9 290X (Very hot and loud fans)
PSU: AX 860 Platinum Efficiency
RAM: G.SKILL RIPJAWS X 8 GB
CASE: Cooler Master HAF X (It has to fit and look good in this case)
STORAGE: Western Digital 1 TB Black
I might buy but I need your opinions:
CPU Block: http://www.performance-pcs.com/swiftech-apogee-xl-ppcs-... (Pretty damn cool (not in the heat way)) (I am not sold on it because although it looks cool the cooling is not "the best") also this one looks good: http://www.ekwb.com/shop/blocks/cpu-blocks/supremacy/ek...
GPU Block: I don't really know but maybe this one: http://koolance.com/video-card-vga-amd-radeon-r9-290x-w...
Reservoir: I don't know if this one is good but it looks cool and it is a pump/reservoir combo: http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/d5ph270recob.html
As for everything else I don't really know. I want red tubing or red coolant that doesn't guck up and I will get pt nuke. Make sure when you suggest something put a link since it will really help out.

I really like this, it looks nice. https://www.google.com/search?q=cooler+master+haf+x+wat...
So, here is what I did...
https://www.google.com/search?q=cooler+master+haf+x+water+cooling&espv=2&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=u7U-VJPsL-W58gH3mIGoCQ&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAg&biw=1325&bih=788
What looks like what you want?
Find that, then start figuring out what you want or what you might want to change. This should give you plenty of ideas.

I think what 4ryan6 is recommending is to do some research and reading through information rather than just asking people what to get. You might get lucky and someone will give you good advice, or you might take poor advice...but how would you know the difference between either? You are potentially risking several hundred dollars on a purchase and you are putting blind faith in a complete stranger to give you sound advice in your spending?

OK so I am reading the sticky and I am thinking of this RAD http://koolance.com/radiator-3-fan-120mm-30-fpi-copperI strongly urge you to do some serious studying before buying!
That radiator is a 30 FPI, (FPI means Fins Per Inch), which will require some very serious High Static pressure cooling fans, high static pressure equals high noise levels, and if you don't put the proper cooling fans on that radiator it's cooling performance will be seriously compromised.
I do agree with the EK Supremacy Acetal/Copper CPU water block and the D5 Pump/Res combo reservoir, but you need to rethink the radiator, unless of course the computer will be in the next room while it's running, because of the fan noise.
FYI: The 3770K gets pretty toasty beyond a 4.5ghz overclock, so since your plans are to get another GHZ out of it's stock 3.5ghz it should be possible for you with the right overclocking guide.

Still no radiators chosen; need to consider loop TDP.
Drop the Mayhems; no real reason. Just used colored tubing. PT Nuke is a good addition.
Assuming your video card is reference PCB...just make sure before you buy a full cover water block.
http://www.coolingconfigurator.com/ is one place to start, but there are others.

So I will be running the 290x stock and will be running the i7 at 4ghz (It is very capable of that). So far this is my list: UV additive http://www.mayhems.co.uk/shop2/x1-uv-red-1ltr.html PT NUKE http://www.amazon.com/Petras-Tech-Nuke-Concentrated-Bio... CPU Block EKWB Supremacy EVO http://www.ekwb.com/shop/blocks/cpu-blocks/supremacy-ev... and Reservoir/Pump XSPC D5 Photon 270. I might instead get this reservoir AlphaCool Coolplex Pro 25 LT but I want a good pump and radiator as well as gpu waterblock. If you can tell me what you think is a good choice for my system.
