I read article that seem to imply that you can use G-sync and NVIDIA 3D Vision at the same time but when I enable one, the other automatically disables. Is this the same for everyone else or is something wrong? My set up consists of:
ASUS VG248QE with G-sync upgrade kit installed
Intel Core i7-5820K
Asus X99 Deluxe Motherboard
Asus Strix GTX 970 (SLI-2)
16 GB RAM

I just don't understand why ya can't buy the kit anymore. Came out at $200 and figured I'd buy after price drop.Yea it is really dumb that they wont sell it to regular people anymore. It really doesnt make sense considering that monitor is still very popular from what I understand. I hope you find a solution. You can try checking ebay once a week. thats what I did.
In fact heres one I just found. They buy it now price is exactly what I paid for mine:

The ROG Swift is definitely 3D Capable based on numerous sources, but like that article mentions, there is a possibility it is only supported up to 1080p, not 1440p, which is the real kicker there. They may not be advertising the 3D Vision because you can't use GSYNC in tandem with 3D Vision (something they're allegedly working on, but unlikely to get fixed), but since the 3D Vision works in tandem with the 120Hz framerate, as well as the built in Lightboost (ULMB now) functionality on the monitor, it does in fact support NVIDIA 3D vision, and this has been confirmed several times by ASUS reps. Thanks for sharing the links. I guess NVIDIA never followed through with allowing G-Sync and 3D Vision to work at the same time. Oh well, at least I know that something isn't wrong with my computer. Also, the reason I was able to get a ASUS VG248QE with G-Sync is because I got really luck and found one a couple of weeks ago on ebay. Someone was selling their monitor which he had put the G-sync module in himself. If you do want to buy the monitor with the kit already installed you can go to some boutique computer makers or

Everywhere I've seen them their $500 though. If I was paying that much I would just get the 27 inch Asus Rog swift. Its a bigger screen and better resolution.
