Alright, I know that you have heard this question before,
i3 or 6300?
Well, I have been wanting to go for the i3 because I hear that it doesn't have as many stutters and has more stable frame rates.
I also was wanting to go for the i3 because the games that I would mostly be playing at first would be Skyrim, LoL, and Counter Strike which from what I have heard, favor the intel side more.
But then I thought that I was going to be wanting to play more cpu intensive games and I thought that the 6300 would be the best way to go.
I know that the 6300 is the better value for the money and I am on a budget as most people are.
I would be pairing the cpu with a 760 graphics card.
I just don't know what I should go for and need some other thoughts from others.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I should also note that I would not be upgrading the cpu for at least a year so just keep that in mind.

What i3 are you going for exactly? If you want to go safe, a i5-4670k or i5-4690k would work really well. The newest one, Intel i3 4150
I'd say that i3-4150 would work extremely well with your Geforce GTX 760 if you plan on doing only gaming.
Both processors are really good, and with a budget, it's always best to pick which one is best for you. I would look around online more to see benchmarks comparing the two.
If you ever plan on doing rendering or that type of stuff, pick the fx-6300.
