DisplayPort and HDMI
Hi, I am currently using a BenQ RL2455HM (1080p, 24", 60Hz, 1ms response time) and I have it hooked up to my GPU using a DVI on my monitor, to HDMI on my GPU. I have ordered the GTX MSI 970 and was wondering if I should be using DisplayPort. I heard somewhere that HDMI only supports up to 30Hz, but I'm not sure if that's entirely true or not.

Should I change to DisplayPort, am I going to see a significant improvement?

I do not have a displayport on my monitor itself so I would need to use HDMI, to DisplayPort. I was thinking of getting this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cable-Matters-Plated-DisplayPor...

If you post, thanks for your help!
