New case always thinks speakers are connected
Hey guys,

I just moved my computer into a Zalman Z9 U3 case today. For some reason the audio will only come through speakers/headphones plugged into the io panel instead of my monitor connected by HDMI. When I go under the sound control panel the computer seems to always think that speakers are plugged in. The only way to switch audio from monitor to headphones or vice versa is by changing which one is default.

Is this a problem with my case or something else? I've unplugged the Audio cable from the case from the motherboard but nothing changes.

I fixed the problem now. I have an AS Rock 960 gm u3/s3 motherboard and reinstalled the HDMI and realtek audio drivers and the problem was gone. Sorry about the meaningless post, maybe this can help someone else.
