Hey guys,
Ive trawled your forums for a while but never actually posted. I have recently built a new gaming rig, first time in about 5-6 years
Spec below.
What I now want is a decent monitor setup. I have looked at 3 setups; 1x LG 34UM95-P, 3x 1080p slim bezel monitors or 2x 25UM65-P.
My Spec:
Case
CORSAIR CARBIDE SERIES™ AIR 540 GAMING CASE
CPU
Overclocked Intel® Core™i7-4790k Quad Core @ 4.70GHz)
Motherboard
ASUS® MAXIMUS VII RANGER: PCI-e 3.0, SATA 3.0, USB3.0
Memory (RAM)
16GB KINGSTON HYPER-X BEAST DUAL-DDR3 2133MHz X.M.P (2 x 8GB)
Graphics Card
2x 4GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 970 - 1 DVI, 1 mHDMI, 3 mDP - 3D Vision Ready
1st Hard Disk
1TB 3.5" SEAGATE SSHD, SATA 6Gb/s 7200 RPM (64MB + 8GB SSD CACHE)
1st DVD/BLU-RAY Drive
8x BLU-RAY ROM DRIVE, 16x DVD ±R/±RW
Power Supply
CORSAIR 850W RM SERIES™ MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET
Processor Cooling
Corsair H100i Hydro Series High Performance CPU Cooler
Sound Card
ONBOARD 8 CHANNEL (7.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)
I mostly play MMO's and with this set up I can touch around 140fps with most of them on custom settings (above Ultra). Im concerned if I select the tri-monitor setup that I will drop FPS significantly and also the fact the majority do not support Display Port. My other concern is that I read Nvidia will not support two monitors for gaming only 1 or 3, something to do with eyefinity. However there are people that contradict this, If you could please clarify this point I may just go for 2 ultra wides
Key point - Budget is around £600.
I am looking for a suggestion on which setup I should look for and someone to put my mind at ease.

Thanks guys,
Sorry I didnt have much time before work to post this up. In hind sight I should have waited until this afternoon
Anyway, I can scrap the idea of any dual monitor setups, games maxed across two would look awful. Imagine an FPS with your crosshair right in the bezel! Ugh!
So that idea is scrapped
So ill re-explain with more info. At the moment I run my PC on a 32" Samsung 1080p TV (I know), I've been playing on this for years and do not really want to go any smaller. I have difficulty finding 3 1080p monitors at about 24" with Display ports to fit under my £600 budget
However, I have recently noticed a new AOC 3440x1440 21:9 34" monitor which I think will solve all my problems.
