Searching for a cpu cooler
Hello,

I have the ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 mobo and I want to change my stock intel cpu cooler. I have found the Scythe Mugen 4 but I don't know if it'll fit without hiding some ram slots. Its dimensions are 157x130x112mm with the fan on. Could you please tell me which is the height, depth and width in these dimensions? Also how could I know which are the maximum of the dimensions my mobo takes? Sorry if I was unclear.

PS: What do you think about the Scyth Mugen 4? Do you have anything else to suggest in the same budget of around €50??

Thanks!

Hey,

The best Air Cooler for that pirce is the "Cooler Master 212 hyper evo". Also buy some high quality thermal paste with it,
the thermal paste that come's with it isn't that good.

157 mm is the height 130 mm is the length and 112 is the breath.

Before purchasing any cooler check the case CPU cooler clearance.

The Mugen is designed to fit without hiding ram slots so this won't be a problem. However the Cooler Master 212 EVO is widely recommended across these forums and not by coincidence. It's one of the best CPU coolers out there in this price category, with an outstanding performance/price ratio.
