Display not working properly
D-sub not displayed properly on my monitor.

Using a Asus Radeon HD 7850 with an LG 22EN33S monitor.

Vga lead in the back of the monitor with a vga to dvi adapter into the graphics card.

The display is there but the colours and text just aren't right, the gamma is way way off. I've tried changing the monitor settings but that didn't work.

I can upload some pictures as it's not the easiest thing in the world to describe

If anyone has any knowledge on how to fix this. Would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

The problem happens from boot. I'll try cleaning the pci-e slot tomorrow and reseat the card into its slot

btw I forgot to ask if this happens in boot up mod or just in windows

sry for the late answer but in case u didn't made it work u could plug out the gpu from the system wipe the pci-e connectors with some alcohol let it dry for 3 min then plug it back in.I'm saying this because maybe the gpu isn't making good contact with the mobo.

The problem still persists after trying two different adapters

that dvi to vga adapter is faulty I'm almost sure.Try another adapter see how it goes.

Checked the connection from the adapter and everything seems fine. Tested on different monitors with the same result as above.

Maybe the DVI port is faulty?

Make sure the adapter is well placed.Try to test things on a different monitor.
