Rate this gaming PC (for 1600 or under USD) build
Critique each part individually. Then discuss performance,Power usage, quality of the build, and possibly suggest alternatives well keeping the price under 1600.
I'm asking for a lot but I need this info so please answer.
Here is the link to the pcpartpicker build

I'd swap out that BLUE drive for a BLACK.

You will be running programs off the BLACK drive. I have a similar setup. A BLACK is good enough to run your OS on, so if you want a speedier response, upgrade that.

Any particular reason you want to water cool? You can probably swap it for a Hyper 212 and get a faster CPU.

How about upgrading that Kingston SSD to the Samsung 840 Evo?
$88 on New Egg right now.

Everything else looks good to me.

Pretty nice. Just a few suggestions:

For the H100i I would suggest replacing the fans with something like two Noctua NF-f12's. I have the H100i and when on full the fans sound like a damned jet. The noctua's on the otherhand are quieter than the wind while still moving a fair amount of air.

Also, for the GPU, i Personally would suggest the gigabyte version of the 970. However it really is personal preference and the cooling difference is extremely minimal in real world use...

You have included a wireless card for a desktop computer? Why not save the money/internet speed decrease and just use a wired connection?

Finally: WINDOWS 8.1?!?!?!?? WHAT ARE YOU THINKING.... (Windows 7 ftw :p )

Overall pretty nice build, just a few minor tweaks. I know some people would cheap out on the motherboard to spend more on a GPU but the Gtx 970... good god that thing is amazing... stuff the 980.
