Hi guys, a (hopefully) quick question on specific core OCing
I just bought an Acer Aspire V3-572G-54S6 Notebook Intel Core i5 4210U (1.70GHz) 8GB DDR3L Memory 1TB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GT 840M 15.6" Windows 8.1. My question is this: I want to know exactly how high I can OC without changing the voltage. Is that even possible? I wouldn't need to max the OC, maybe just bring it up to 2.3/2.4. I plan on having this professionally done and maybe even try to get a warranty from Intel on the core. (If possible) Thanks in advance for any info.

Intels native turbo boost that automatically speeds up the processor depending on usage and current cpu temperature.

So when they say is available for up to 2.7 (from 1.7,) what are they alluding to?

You usually cannot overclock OEM systems (Asus, Acer, Dell HP...) at all.
