"Gag. Most of the output filtering on this unit uses Ltec capacitors. That's not tier one or even tier two for me... that's just about bottom rung. Remember that great big deal about ten years ago where some company started using a flawed electrolyte formula, and they started failing left and right? That was Ltec, right in the middle of it. Now, they have improved since then, so it's not like we're dealing with the old days when Fuhjyyu equipped Antecs often meant you'd be buying a new power supply in a year. Chicony knows their business well enough to make even crap capacitors last forever. Heck, they're just like Delta in that regard, who also uses Ltec a lot.
Even so, my scoring methodology is clear - I gotta score against it. "
I definitely see what you mean
Yep, JonnyGURU is the best in the business when it comes to PSU testing. Always look at the PSU Tier list and his reviews.

An EVGA SuperNova G2 1000W is a great choice. Made by Super Flower and it's based on their Leadex PSU's. I will definitely take a look. Thank you

Yeah... I think the point is he has a basic card , try and find one that isn't all amped out as it wont help.Avoid the RM series PSU tho ....
Seasonic X series, M12 or even S12 if price an issue
EVGA P2, G2 or even B2 if price an issue
XFX Pro or Core Editions
Corsair AXi or HXi but overpriced
Does the RM series have issues?

No sense spending more on the AMP, as it will default to the speed of the weaker card but yes, SLI is great. I have never seen microstuttering or any of those other issues which seem to plague only low end cards780 scaling
