something went boom... possibly.
Okay so i was just playing a little Gotham City Impostors and then all of a sudden my screen froze, went a strange red, then i couldn't see anything and my monitor said a cable has been un-plugged. So I'm unsure as to what has gone dead as I've turned it off and on and everything (from what I can see) seems to power up, (i.e. GPU, Fans, CPU Fan). My only assumption is is that my GPU is done for or my CPU as nothing displays on the monitor... or it could be my HDDs, but literally nothing comes up on the screen...

It's not the monitor as I've just connected my laptop to it and everything is working fine...

Any tips in finding out what the problem could be?!

Thanks,

Mike

just to be sure though, does anyone reckon anything else could have been damaged?! I've left my PC on and it's not turned off, however it did have a BSOD after like 3 minutes when i first turned it on after removing the GPU... but now it hasn't had one after 30mins (second boot up).

seems to me like the GPU was the problem... removed it and plugged my HDMI into the mobo. boots up and all with visuals on the monitor.

fx 6100 OC to 4.2Ghz
HD 5770
Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 (I put heatsinks on the mosfets)
Corsair CX 430
2 HDDs
5 fans built into a Cooler Master N200

I've never had any cooling problems and the OC has always been stable.

Everything powers on. Also just tested some motherboard inputs (even with a VGA and HDMI) and still nothing comes up on the monitor

Does the PC have integrated video and/or a discrete gfx card? Some specs of the system would be helpful.
