Monitor gives "no signal" message with just 2 games. Opinions please.
Hello, i have a lot of games.. i usually play racing sims..assetto corsa lately, no problems there.
Also i have skyrim, gta iv, thief, watch dogs, assassins creed 4, no problems.
But now 2 newer games, alien isolation and evil within.. and i get that problem.. monitor gets in stand by mode and thats it..i can hear the game still running but no more picture until i reset my pc.

Researched a bit and found no one with that problem in those games so..no ideias. Tried latest beta from amd, the same.. then tried the 14.8 (older) and it was a lot worst, couldn´t play for 2 mins.
Back to 14.9, i lowered GPU specs in CCC and it worked for a lot longer in both games but still.."no signal" later on.
Then i ran 3d mark and pc mark (the latest ones with gpu default speeds) and no problems at all.
Started to get fustrated and upped the default gpu specs in ccc don´t know why, and guess what, problems stopped..?? at least i could play for 2 or 3 hours with no problems.

I Have Windows 8.1 x64 with everything up to date in a gigabyte z97x-ud3h with an 4690k and 8gb Gskill 2400mhz..
Gpu is a 2 year old xfx 7770 dd (@1440x900) and Psu is Enermax liberty 550w with 6 or 7 years..
Max temps after games and futuremark are : CPU 49º (RealTemp). GPU 66º (TechPowerUp Gpuz)

So...what should i expect from this? GPU or PSU dying?? or what?
And is there anyway i can test or stress my psu?

Thanks

no Windows logs cause it doesn´t crash, i just have to reset it to get image back on.

ahh man..i´m out of cash right now..can´t really buy stuff just for testing..i wish eheh.
well, is there anyway i can test my psu other then watching voltages?
i repeated all of the futuremark tests a lot of times today with my 7770 a little bit oc´d, i was imagining that those tests would push my 550w psu but nothing bad happenned..after that i ran alien isolation for a bit with gpu default speeds and voilá.."no signal" .....
Very annoying.

It is going to be a coin toss between the GPU and the PSU giving the problems - although, I think the GPU is the most likely cause of the problem. If you can get your hands on a test PSU or GPU to verify it would be best. Other than that - you would need to purchase the GPU or PSU to test.

CPU 49º (RealTemp). GPU 66º (TechPowerUp Gpuz)
all fans are working in case/gpu/psu
all voltages readings from psu are normal too..

Are the fans spinning on your GPU? Are the fans noisy? Temps?

Are there any errors in your Windows Logs?
