Hello people, i want to ask for your opinions on these two cards, right now i have this card MSI GTX 680 Twin Frozr III 2GB, i'm pretty happy with it, i am thinking of upgrading it to Gigabyte GTX 980 4GB, do you guys think it would be a significant upgrade?.
My current PC specs:
CPU: Core i7 4770 @ 3.4 GHz
GPU: MSI GTX 680 Twin Frozr III 2GB
Motherboard: Gigabyte G1 Sniper Z87
RAM: 8 GB
PSU: 650 Watts.
Thank you.

Yes, under 1080p, the most powerful single GPU card - the 980 beats all other single GPUs: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2014-n...
Review for GTX 970 and GTX 980 reference models: http://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/nvidia-geforce-gtx... The non-reference model still betas every other single GPU.

Yes, the difference is huge for less power. Also, you get extra 2 GB VRAM which will help in the near future. http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1348?vs=1351
