Gtx 980 with 3 monitos for streaming
I am running a specific combination for streaming.
I have a i7 3770k, 16gb ram and a gtx 680. I also have the avermedia live gamer HD card which I use to stream my battlefield 4 gameplay.
Currently I am using 2 monitors. My main monitor is a 144 hz BENQ monitor and my second monitor is a standard 1080p samsung monitor.

I have the following problem:
I would like to play on 144 hz and stream at 60 hz (60hz max on the live gamer hd card).
I would also like to have my second monitor set up to see the chat.

The problem with it is, that I cannot play on 144hz with HDMI, which is required to connect to the live gamer hd. So I am currently using the 2nd monitor as a duplication of my 144 hz monitor in orde to play on 144hz and stream on 60 hz.
This prevents me from using my 2nd monitor for chat (since it is a duplication of my first monitor).
The truth is that I don't realy need to plug it in because windows sees the live gamer hd card as a separate screen.

If I connect a 3th monitor to my GTX 680 I can use that 3th monitor to see the chat or other programs, but this results in massive stutter and my 144 hz monitor downscales automatically to 60 hz.

If I would get a GTX 980, would it be possible to set up 3 monitors (a 144 hz monitor as main screen, 2nd monitor as duplication for streaming and a 3th monitor for chat during streaming) without any stutter and problems of downscaling of my 144 hz monitor?

I have been reading about the posts gtx 980 vs SLI gtx 970, but I would like to go for the GTX 980 if possible.
