Compatible Mobo and CPU ?
Hi guys,

I'm buying an Intel i5 4690 and an MSI h87-e35 mobo for my gaming PC build.

Are they compatible?

H97 would be better, because you wouldn't need a BIOS update, which can be a pain sometimes.
I wouldn't recommend MSI MoBos.I know some people that have had MSI boards and issues with them.I'm not saying that every single MSI mobo will give issues, but I don't think it's a risk worth taking.
Take a look at some ASRock,Gigabyte and ASUS H97 motherboards.

What about the MSI h97m-g43?

Yes,they are,but you may need a BIOS update before using that MSI MoBo.
If you haven't bought that MoBo,I would look at some other motherboards, like the ASRock H97 Pro4.Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H,ASUS H97-PLUS and others.
