ok thank you very much. I have three probably pretty stupid questions more before I will stop bothering you. Is it hard or pretty self explainable to exchange a psu?
wouldn't the supernova 850 g2 be a better choice, because it is more or less the same price as the 750?
And finally do the Psu's fit in my case: Bitfenix Shinobi?

So is it ok to get a supernova 750w at Christmas ? Or is it so urgent? Or should I get a better one so I can use it for a bit longer? You will be fine until the holiday season. Just don't try to do any crazy overclocking. I can honestly say that the others that have responded thus far are following the general misconception when it comes to PSUs in severely overestimating how much power a system actually uses.
not really trying to misconceive anything. Its not "Severely" either lol.
If you OC the FX and the 290X which is definitely needed since they are both Overclockable components (it kills the point if you don't overclock something you bought that is more expensive cause its overclockable).
It is also specially important to have a good PSU + extra power for AMD components, because they are just power hungry. The entire opposite of Nvidia and Intel. That is why AMD have recommendations for 290X, 2 x 290X and even stricter for 295X2 or you'll have a ticking fireworks inside your case.
But there is also the me who just want a bit more headroom, that is specially with AMD parts (I am looking at you 290X)
But I guess you have your own opinion and I have my own.
All I can just say is, I'd feel more comfortable with a 750W one.
also: Knock yourself out:
System Requirements
PCI Express® based PC is required with one X16 lane graphics slot available on the motherboard.
1X75 Watt 6-pin PCI Express power connector is required.
Certified power supplies are recommended. Please refer to: http://support.amd.com/us/certified/power-supplies/Page...
4096MBMinimum of system memory.
Installation software requires CD-ROM drive.
DVD playback requires DVD drive.
Blu-ray™ / HD DVD playback requires Blu-ray / HD DVD drive.
750 Watt Power Supply is required.
1X150 Watt 8-pin PCI Express power connector is required.
64-bit operating system highly recommended
Windows Vista®, Windows® 7 or Windows® 8 operating system. 64-bit operating system highly recommended.
bit exaggerated from Sapphire yes.
Bottom line is, if the 290X gets alot of power, you gonna need more headroom for the card + the rest of the components, CPU, HDD, AiO cooler from that Kraken etc.
@finnigen
The supernova is alright athough a bit high on the price. Right now some XFX Pro/XXX or Pro core series have lower prices for 750W you can always check them.
As to when you will buy them, its your choice I guess, if its me Id definitely get a 750W and sell the old PSU.
Manufacturer requirements/recommendations are always going to recommend way more power than you actually need. They are trying to ensure that if you are unfortunate enough to buy a Diablotek PSU that your computer will still run without blowing up.
However, quality PSUs are capable of actually running at their rated power. At stock clocks, it would be pretty much impossible to get that system over 500w in total power consumption unless you were running IBT and Furmark at the same time.
All the OP is asking is if he can hold off until the holidays. The answer is YES, but don't overclock.
@OP: Unless you are planning on going dual graphics cards at some point, you will never need more than 750W.

ye it is good enough. the XFX Core 750W 80 Bronze from XFX is a good pick and nowadays they are cheaper compared to last year (you can find it on Tom's PSU List Tier2 Class A. Found here http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-1804779/power-su...If its other things its okay, fans AiO cooler etc. , but if your Crossfiring 290X in the future it won't be okay

Sorry, but with my question I more ment if I should buy a even better psu then a 750w. So then I could use that one even after upgrading some stuff. Or would a 750w already be good enough, even after upgrading stuff like cooler or other minor things?

as what Luka already mentioned.because 290X and your FX chip are both power hungry cards specially when they are both overclockable. So yo need atleast 750W for it.
As for your Supernova choice its a good choice, other alternative are the one from XFX's Pro/XXX series 750W.
As to when to buy, I would buy now (but it really depends with your budget), so far XFXs ones are cheaper nowadays compared to when I bought mine last December 2013. And most XFX PSU's are AMD compatible since they have partnership's with AMD.
So I can still use those ones after upgrading some stuff?
