GTX 970 high pitch on menu screen
I recently built my new system which includes.

4790k w/ Kraken x61
ASRock Z97 Extreme6
Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming
be quiet! Dark Power Pro 10 550w

I was doing a benchmark of a rendering software i use and after the test is done the screen that shows me my score i would hear i high pitched noise. Once i minimized the program it would go away instantly. I did 3DMark Firestrike benches and everything was fine. So is there a reason why in a menu i would hear a high pitched noise?

Coil whine is unpredictable and may only be heard or noticed under certain conditions. For some it can be heard all the time.

If the noise is coming from the graphics card, it is coil whine and nothing much you can do about it.

Coil whine can be for only certain things? I was thinking it was all the time or when under load.
