Memory and GPU compatability
I had geek squad do some work on my computer that solved none of my problems what so ever! MY computer specs are as follows
AMD a10 6700 3.5 gHz with 8 Gigs of RAM
Corsair 750 watt power supply
and an ASUS Gtx970

Basically I am getting about 30-40 FPX on ultra settings on Napoleon total war and Shogun total war. Basically my CPU is bottlenecking my system(From the research I have done I believe this to be the case) however the dude said I might be having some memory compatibility issues between my CPU and GPU what the hell does this mean?

IMHO geek squad is worthless. You need a new motherboard and cpu to get rid of the bottleneck.

Memory incompatibility is b/w CPU and RAM sticks, and you don't have that, as if you had, it'd create issues. GPU VRAM is independent of CPU. The GPU is getting bottlenecked badly in CPU intensive titles, that's the only thing I see.

No such thing, however you have paired a very high end video card with a not so great processor, which would explain your FPS in RTS titles. RTS require a lot more CPU power then GPU power in general.
