Looking for a PC that I can upgrade video to dual GeForce 9800 GT in SLI Mode
I have a two GeForce 9800 GT video cards sitting on my shelf. What I would like to do is buy a fully built PC with a cheap video card and replace it with the two cards that I have and put them into SLI mode.

I want to use this PC for gaming. However, I don't know hardware well enough to choose the right starter PC to upgrade. I'm afraid that without help I'll end up buying something that will be a real dog or worse be incompatible with the video cards.

Can anyone point me to a good and relatively cheap pre-built PC that can be upgraded with my cards? Obviously I want something that will be as fast as possible for gaming but stability is very important. (If I don't know how to select the proper starting point in a PC I have no chance of troubleshooting stability problems.)

Thanks

+1^^
Besides, any pre-built that had a motherboard capable of SLI at X8, x8 lanes or better would be hard to find... and probably expensive. SLI (and CF) is mainly an enthusiast builder's endeavor.

9800GT's are very slow against almost anything out now a days. You might want to rethink your plan.

Those cards are like 5-6 years old. It wouldnt be a good idea to buy a computer based on them. The 750ti I would imagine outperforms them at $150 or less.
