ASUS VE228H issue... Fades to black when most of the screen is black?
I just recently got a ASUS VE228H monitor. It was a downgrade in size, but my last one was failing me (an LED in the backlit would go off randomly, only solution was to turn it off and on again, which took 5 minutes)
So far, the two problems I've had were a black outline, which was an issue with Catalyst, and this issue here...
Whenever the screen is mostly black, the entire screen turns black.
If I watch an anime and they do that weird thing where it's all black except for subtitles, I don't see the subtitles unless I turn off fullscreen, and it's been really confusing.
Not just random japanese animation, but it happened in a borderlands: the prequel intro, and, for a more controlled test, if I full screen a black screen youtube video (the one I tested specifically was made by a oskar1101pl) then it fades to black. I can't see the bar on the bottom saying how far in the video I am if I move my mouse, or anything really, until I hit esc.
It's not my computer, because, as I've said, I have had a monitor before this, and I didn't have this issue.

... Rawr, I found the solution on my own.
ASCR was turned on.
Really wish there was more information on this, or by default set to off...
