HDMI/PC duplicating monitors issue
This is probably going to make me sound like a total moron, but, today I decided I wanted to play some games from my PC but I wanted to duplicate my monitor and play on my Samsung hdtv through my HDMI cord. I've done it on my laptop for months and have never had a problem so I figured I'd have the same situation with my new PC.

So, I plugged in the cord to my pc's hdmi port and it was plugged into my tv as well, and I went to the display settings to mirror the pc monitor but it didn't detect it as Samsung like it does on my laptop. But it said something else along the lines of "Other display found" or something like that. So I clicked that one and it merged them like it does when I do it on my laptop but then my main Samsung monitor went black and my tv isn't showing a connection to my pc so nothing is coming up there either. I plugged my laptop in via the same hdmi cord and it connected no problem. So I'm assuming I clicked the wrong thing when I was changing the display settings but now I can't get it to come up on either monitor so I have no way of changing it back. And even if the HDMI isn't plugged in, the monitor still doesn't come on.

Any suggestions? I know it's not a software issue or anything, just a stupid rookies mistake that I have no clue how to reverse.
