How do i connect my 8pin gpu to my 6pin psu?
hi guys

so basically i have an asus gtx 970 that has an 8pin socket and i have a corsair cx600m psu that has a 6pin socket.

my problem is i do not know how to connect the two together as i do not have any cables what so ever to do the job.

please help!

The CX600M comes with a single modular cable that has two 150 Watt (6+2)-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors on it. The cable shown on the left in this picture:


The solid 8-pin end of that modular cable should be plugged into the 6+2 PCI-E & 4+4 CPU socket on the PSU's modular interface panel shown on the bottom right of this CX600M image:

Look thru your cx600m box for the two 6+2 pin cables that came with it otherwise see if you can buy them from corsair.
