Hi everyone,
I'm planning on buying a new case! I chose the Cooler Master HAF XM.
I only have one small question:
If I buy this replacement fan with blue LEDs:
http://www.cmstore-usa.com/200mm-led-fan-on-off-for-cos...
for it to be installed in the front, will the ON/OFF switch be compatible. I've been searching for several hours for a clear answer and I can't seem to get one...
There is this post but it doesn't say that that LED switch is working...
http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1847362/cooler-m...
If someone already did that, an answer will be much appreciated!
Thanks!

hey there!luckily i own a HAF X full tower case so i was able to look inside to look at the connector for you.
here is a picture of my on/off fan LED connector http://i1349.photobucket.com/albums/p743/skywere/IMG_47...
i am not sure but i think the on/off light switch connector is NOT the same in the XM as in the X case, i found a review on the store page you provided saying ''Fan is great it fit my Haf X but unfortunately the front LED switch does not work with the HAF X''
after reading this review i do not think the connector fits unless you mod it (which will probably void warranty on your case and fan so i do not recommend that)
if you have more questions or need more help with the fan connector problem, feel free to ask!

First of all, thanks for the reply Skywere!
As for my little question, actually, I literally asked Cooler Master just after I posted my question here. I thought it would take ages to get a response, but it took one day! Here's the full conversation:
ME: Hi, I'm currently the proud owner of a Cooler Master HAF 922 which I have since 2009. I'm now considering upgrading my case to the HAF XM. I only have one small issue and I hope that you guys can help me. You see, I would like to replace the 200 mm red LED front fan of the HAF XM case with a blue LED 200 mm fan. I'm just wondering if this is possible while maintaining the compatibility with the case's LED ON/OFF switch? Like with this fan maybe: http://www.cmstore-usa.com/200mm-led-fan-on-off-for-cos... If not, can you do something about this? Thanks in advance for your support! Best regards,
THEM: Good Afternoon, Yes it will fit.
Please let me know for further questions. Regards, Felinni M. CMUSA SupportME: So I'll be able to turn the blue LED on and off with the case's switch just beside the power button?! Sorry , I really just want a confirmation, every forum I looked, nobody was able to confirm it to me, so I just wanna make sure! Thanks again!
THEM: Good Morning, Yes you're fine as long as you use our specific Cooler Master 200mm LED Case Fans. Please let me know for further questions. Regards, Felinni M. CMUSA Support
Soooo after that, I ordered them both, they should arrive at my place maybe at the end of the week, I'll keep you posted here if everything works or not! (The fan cost me about 20 bucks with tax and shipping, so it wasn't a really big deal).
Thanks again for taking the time to help me! I appreciate it!
