Looking for a reliable budget PSU to power my rig.
Im am looking for a reliable budget psu to replace my current psu.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005HNF1FO/ref=oh_aui_... (Old Psu)

I think my PSU is starting to fail, because when i am playing games my computer randomly does a hard restart. I checked out the temps before it crashes and it dose not seem to be a overheating issue. Under load: GPU is usually at 60-65 c and the cpu at 40c.

My rig:
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 660 SUPERCLOCKED 2048MB
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 AM3 3.4Ghz
Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 4gb DDR3

I was thinking about getting this one as well. http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-80PLUS-Bronze-Certified-100-... The 60$ Price tag fits my budget

Ya want the B2, not the B1 .... but G2 is usually only $5 more

The EVGA G2's have 10 year warranty and are extremely inexpensive. You need 450 watts

EVGA G2 750 - $80 will handle a 2nd 660

Seasonic S12 620 - $65

That's a fine PSU but you can get better for that price.

Good grief. 1000 Watts was way, way overkill and you did the right thing by getting rid of that unit anyway. The most you'll want for that system is about 600 watts, preferably this one -

Seasonic G 650 - http://www.amazon.com/SeaSonic-650-Watt-CrossFire-Certi...

Same price, but far better quality.
