Gigabyte Radeon r9 270 with 300w power
I have a 300w Power supply and getting a Gigabyte Radeon r9 270 Graphics card. i wanna know if this is enough power and what happens if it isnt enough power.

My pc specs:

AMD FX-4300 Quad-Core Processor(3.80GHz)

4gb installed RAM

Windows 8.1
64bit operating system

Generic PnP Monitor

And 1 terabyte of hard drive space.

It's common sense. If you don't provide enough power... you risk the chance of your power supply overloading and destroying every hardware connected to it.

The recommended PSU wattage is 500 for the Radeon R9 270. Also, it's most likely your cheap 300W power supply doesn't have the power connectors for the Radeon R9 270 so you're forced to buy a new power supply anyways.

300W is not enough. Get 550W at least.
