Hello,
I own a AMD APU-6800k and I have noticed CPU temps are high in programs like HWmonitor and speedfan at 45-60 idle, but in my bios it reads 30c and AMD overdrive thermal margin reads 50-60 somtimes even 70 idle and usually stays in the forties under stress which means according to overdrive my temps are 10-20 idle and 30's under stress. I would think to trust the BIOS and processor brand, but I am not completely sure. It is also a aftermarket cooler.

Which cooler are you using?Re-seat it. Don't use to much thermal paste, only a small dot in the middle, place the cooler & let the cooler spread it.

I am using Cooler Master TX3. I will try soon and see if it makes a difference.

The average temp on hwinfo is still around 50 idle, and sometimes jumps. I have changed out my thermal paste, perhaps it may be a sensor problem?
