R9 290 factory overclock not showing in furmark [pic]
Hey guys,

I bought an R9 290 double dissipation black that has a factory overclock to the core @ 980Mhz. However, I can't seem to get it to get up that high. Here is a screenshot of a Furmark burn-in test with the MSI afterburner overlay showing actual core Mhz. Does anyone know why my card isn't reaching 980Mhz during benchmarking?

I appreciate the help.

So what voltage and clocks are you running?

Thanks for your suggestion but I am only using Afterburner for custom fan curves and the on screen display. I haven't made any custom voltage or OC settings.

Maybe you've under-volted it. What settings are you using in Afterburner?
