Looking for a video card
I have an 18 month old HP p7-1414 desktop: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/documentSubCategory?...

I am looking for a card that will NOT give me driver issues like I am getting currently (all of a sudden, when watching a video the screen goes green. I have to reboot the computer every time to see videos).

I am thinking about getting one that is more reliable, maybe an HDMI port.

I am not a gamer, but I do simple picture editing, and getting into video editing as well.

Not looking to spend $300 on a card. I guess maybe looking around the $80 range, but would like one that is dependable & works well with my desktop.

Thanks!

A discrete GPU may or may not help with photo/video editing, it depends on the software you're using. Typically, this task is processor-oriented.

If you're set on buying a GPU, then an R7 250 will fit the bill, but I'd urge you to investigate the driver issue further. Otherwise, you may blow $80 when you don't have to.
