XFX 280x 3gb vs Gainward gtx 770 phantom 2gb
Hi guys, i am finally ready to buy my new build. Its a matter of 2 days before i go to the shop. But at the last moment the shop im using got new GPUs with nice prices. Originally i was going for XFX R9 280x, Now they received Gainward GTX 770 phantom 2gb,

Now, Im playing mostly World of Warcraft, the rest of my games are: Diablo 3, Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell, Hitman: Absolution and i wanna try the new Thief. There are more Nvidia titles then AMD in my list, Wow clearly prefers nvidia, if you google wow r9 280x the first things that come are tesselation and artifacting problems. However, as much as i like gtx 770 option, i am not familiar with Gainward. Is it's cooling good? I have an everlasting cooling problem, my room is really hot. Also please consider that r9 280x is 3gb. Which one do i choose?

I am not overoclocking, not gonna do sli/crossfire ever, im using my gpu as is, no modifications. My CPU will be i5 4670. Other components will be adjusted to these 2.
Thanks in advance

In my country the prices are about 30-35% higher, so if i am buying gtx 770 here, id be able to buy 970 at US. My budget is strict and its limited to one of these cards.

My friend, if you're thinking of getting the 280X or the 770, think of getting GTX 970 instead. Would be much better than the options you have at the moment.

Gainward > XFX in the last 2 generations of graphics cards.

XFX has made some pretty bad blunders in their quality and cooling on AMD GPUs recently.
