Max clock speed not working
I have just got a new pc with Gainward geforce gtx 750 Ti.
Gainward has an application installed which in called EXPERTool, which can set the core, memory clock and voltage. The memory clock for gtx 750 Ti is 5500 mhz in this chipset. The default clock speed was 2750 mhz and the Overclock menu can add 2750 mhz more (5500/2750=2) so it is 1/2 of the real speed. The problem is that when I turn it 5500, the display freezes(It is not a matter of hyperheating). The Mhz limit is +520.If i set it 560 for instance, the screen starts tearing and doing strange things.I dont know what to do.
Thanks
Note : I have a non PnP LED LCD 21.5 inch monitor( display 1920*1080 at 60 hz)

yup, pls be careful, even cpu's (which is easier to oc and can reach higher oc in % compared to gpu's) don't reach double the clock speed.
unless of course we understood your post in a wrong way

You are going to damage your video card if you keep trying this. Start the overclock at 100mhz and go from there. If you can get to 20% overclock without crashes that is not bad at all with the stock cooler. Anything over you are likely to severely shorten the life of the card.

You should do a bit of research on overclocking before just automatically trying to double the stock speed which is absolutely crazy.

first off, i think there is a confusion here. i do not think that memory can OC to double it's frequency. That is just too much.
if i were you i will stop first, read some more, you might damage your gpu.
if you read some reviews, you will see that oc increase is not even close to double
