Graphics Card For Dell
Hi guys. I own a Dell Optiplex 9010. I wanted to know if a GTX 750 ti or gt 740 will run and work in it. I will have to change PSU to a cx430. Will it fit?

275 W power supply is a bit small to run a 750 Ti without some risk of crashes. If that power supply is a standard ATX you can get any number of upgrades for it, a 350 watt one will be enough to run a 750Ti although you can spend more and get a 450 + watt one and get a 260X which is as fast but cheaper.

Do you think selling this ( it still sells for atleast 300$ where i live ) and putting in an extra 200$ that i would be spending on upgrading to buy A proper gaming pc .................. would that be better

yes and you could actually get a good gaming prebuilt pc for $500 but you would have to go amd and not intel because intel is really expensive .. here is a amd prebuilt system .. you would eventually have to upgrade the cpu to a fx 6300 or better in the future ..

what about a cx500?? will it fit and be compatible? yes my MOBO has pci express 3.0

no the cx 500 wont fit because you have a slim case .. if you wanted a cx 500 you would have change your system case to a atx case and then get a cx 500 ...and it would be compatible with your motherboard

as long as your motherboard has a pci express slot and you have enough space in your case then any graphics card will work and i would recommend a 500watt and above psu , try a evga 600b or above psu .
